Heats quickly and the high setting is hot enough to easily remove paint.
Excellent value. Having 2 settings is great.
Was able to pop a dent out of a plastic bumper and remove primer from some wood.

It smells terrible.
1 of 1 found this helpful It smells terrible. Even after letting it sit for over a week, it makes the entire room smell funky so I probably won't install it.
Unless there's a secret cleaner to remove the smell....

Fantech products are awesome. Zoro is great
I bought the exhaust system with 6" duct connections which might not have been the smartest move - 4" would have been better.
It's for a bathroom that has had moisture issues. I placed a vent above the shower so we'll see if it solves the problem. It's clearly pulling tons of air so if I can get my kids to run it, I should be in good shape.
Fan is pretty quiet and there's little to no vibration so it's well balanced.
The only issues:
1. The bracket holding the fan - the holes to screw down are blocked by the fan making it difficult unless you have a 90 degree drill.
2. The Y connector doesn't fit tight. Aluminum tape won't hold it so have some sheet metal screws ready.
FYI - I also have a Fantech blower on my dryer vent so I'm definitely a "fan" - get it???
