Too little magic too many humans
This story was supposed to be about magic cereal capturing and inslaving fantastical creatures but this book has way too few mythical creatures and way too many humans.

lame and not impressed with it
i happen to own a copy of this novel which i am selling on ebay but when i read this book i am afraid to say i was not satisfied with the storytelling, i was not impressed with the characters or the plot or the concept some people may find this book entertaining and satisfiying but when i read this book the movre i read it the more dissatisfied i was with the concept like the hero was half merman but he did not even go underwater and his mother is just a little mermaid ripoff who renounced her throne to a new Yorker who is not even a wealthy prince so i give this book only 2 out of 5 swimming brontosauruses and i think that this book is not even good enough to make into a movie but some people may enjoy it and may think its Hollywood movie material but not me.
