Conan the Defender by Robert Jordan
I hope you are familiar with Robert E. Howard's Conan. I love him like a brother by Crom! Contributors to the perpetuation of Conan are: Poul Anderson, Leonard Carpenter, Lin Carter, L. Sprague de Camp, Roland J. Green, John C. Hocking, Robert Jordan, Sean A. Moore, Björn Nyberg, Andrew J. Offutt, Steve Perry, John Maddox Roberts, Harry Turtledove, and Karl Edward Wagner. "The Defender" is one of Robert Jordan's. Perhaps you are familiar with his famed "Wheel of Time" series. He is very worthy of donning the Cimmerian mantle. Unfortunately, Jordan passed away September 16, 2007. The antagonist here is Albanus the Wizard. He and a small group are planning to usurp the Dragon Throne of Nemedia. Conan's friends Hordo and Karela the Red Hawk show up to help the Cimmerian out. Expect plenty of high adventure, drinking, women, violence, black magic, and all the other stuff that makes us love Conan. Conan's main love interest in this adventure, Ariane, is quite the artsy type.

The Beautiful Side of Evil by Johanna Michaelsen
2 of 2 found this helpful Johanna Michaelsen came from a unique family. Her grandmother could be considered a witch. As a child she experienced many strange events and horrific encounters with entities, who seemingly enjoyed scaring the hell out of her.
Her college years include experiences with peyote and marijuana. In this time period, she becomes her grandmother's granddaughter. She begins to commune with an entity that resides in the college's theater. She has a statue of Mephistopheles in her room with which she holds conversations. Small people make them selves manifest when she journeys into the woods for herbs and flowers.
Eventually she becomes involved with an old woman in Mexico that does psychic surgeries with a rusted knife. She becomes the woman's student and continues to have spiritual experiences. She comes to realize that evil has a beautiful side. This is a MOST ILLUMINATING read in which you will become familiar with demonic personalities and eventually saving Grace. Also, her Peyote Vampire boyfriend.

Histories by Tacitus
The short lives of Galba, Otho, Vitellius and many other interesting Romans of around A.D. 60! Wish it were not a mutilated text.... Today Tacitus' "The Histories" are relavent to the world politically. Let us be so bold as to say that our American Republic is very close to an end, as those with opened eyes know. Like Orson Scott Card's "Empire" portrays, in a "novel" way, civil war could perhaps be at our doorstep once again. Read Tacitus and know that history repeats itself. Down with the Luciferian Globalists who use the Left and Right as Machivellian reigns! Shake off your polarization! Don't follow around your fat idiot lying leaders like sheep. Learn something from Tacitus!
