Stopped working after 45 mins
I purchased this item to double up as an ionizer / ozone generator for my infrared sauna to run along side one that is already installed with it from manufacture. Started both ionizers at the same time only to have this one slowly stop on me about 45 mins later. The main reason for purchasing this was to run it as an ozone generator after a sauna session as this helps kill any mould that should start to grow and to sterilise the sauna after use. I'm only glad it stopped working while I was there as the sterilisation runs for 15 mins after use when I'm not with the sauna, and as the motor started to bind and slow down it could have overheated and possibly caused a fire, hence will not be using it again. Those of you wishing to purchase these for your car, why on earth would you want to run this as an ozone generator as you would need to leave your ignition on to use it, don't sit in the car while it's running as ozone is toxic to breathe. Here is a photo of the original ionizer that comes with my infrared sauna and most infrared saunas. As you can see they are exactly the same it even comes with the fragrance tablet like the original.
