OP flare compatibility of the HEL braded hose for MX5 Mk 1 cars

Buyer beware - if you are purchasing one of these hoses for your Mk 1, just be aware that this HEL hose comes with an OP1 flare provision at one end and an OP2 flare provision at the other. The Mk 1 car has an OP1 flared pipe at both ends of the fit. You will need to re-flare the hydraulic line on the car at one end to suit. I am unable to comment about the direct replacement potential on a Mk 2 or Mk 2.5.

Canvas soft top car roof repair

This needles was a lifesaver. I was able to properly re-stich a brand new white thread into my roof and fully restore the original feature. Doing this saved me over £300 for a new roof. Using upholstery grade thread also from e-bay, I completely refurbished my canvas roof and this needle was pivotal in doing so. Canvas is very tough to hand sew but I was advised by a profession al canvas and leather worker that this was the only way. He was right. The job took 3 hours but the needle was the hero of the day ! Great value, prompt delivery and the right tool for the job.
