Historically acurate and well-acted DVD.
An excellent depiction of Philippa Gregory's book of this subject, altho' the sound track leaves a lot to be desired. Too much whispering!!

A great insight into the author's style and method.
All the Aubrey/Maturin novels (all twenty of them!) are beautifully written, factually fascinating and correct, and therefore compelling reading. Highly recommended! This volume details the writer's last, unfinished, work, and gives a fascinating insight into his writing philosophy, research method, and style.
