The diversity of contemporary drawing and its practices
This is an excellent series of analyses of different aspects of contemporary drawing. These discussions include a very good exploration of the nature of drawing in all its contemporary diversity. The artists as authors explain different drawing approaches practiced today, and these are well illustrated by the many helpful illustrations. It definitely is not a book for those who are starting to draw, and looking for technical advice. However each chapter concludes with an exercise that could extend the practices of readers who are already fairly competent in drawing.
