Worked OK for a few months and then failed to turn on. Beware!!
3 of 3 found this helpful I was initially impressed with PL 660. I had purchased it to use when I travelled and after playing with it for a week or two I put it away for future travel use. Some months later I took it with me when I went on holiday and was very disappointed when the unit failed to turn on, new batteries were installed but made no difference. Sometimes by resetting the unit it will work on FM, but will only tune manually and all buttons will not work, you can only turn it off by removing the batteries. Warranty has just expired so I am stuck with a faulty unit that had about ten hours of use before failing miserably. I note that I am not the only PL-660 owner that has this fault with these radios. The Tecsun PL-660in my opinion is of very poor quality.
