Olympus PEN E-PL3 12.3MP Mirrorless Digital Camera Silver w/ Battery Charger etc

Awesome little camera!
Its easier to get sharper looking images with this camera than with my auto focus Nikons, even though I'm using manual focus Nikon lenses on this camera via an adapter. Of course it can't compete in absolute resolution at higher ISO with a full frame, but it's just a lot of fun to shoot with this little joy of a camera. Must get a speed booster. I've got one on order, but it's taking forever to arrive.
Nikon AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8 Prime Lens

Nikon 50mm f/1.8
Sharp, fast, light weight 50mm prime. Not a "D", but very sharp by f/2.8. Very glad to have it in my collection. The sound of the motor is not a problem for me, as it is typical of older Nikon AF. Also, the price is well affordable. I always used zooms in the past, but couldn't afford the "pro" lenses. Now I prefer to shoot with primes, despite the hassle of having to change lenses. Plus, because it has an aperture ring, it will continue to work on any older Nikon film camera (my FM2) should I choose to use film.

Very happy with this little lens
I'm surprised and pleased with how small and light this little lens is. Great for a little camera to carry around and be inconspicuous with. Fun zoom range. There is some vignetting, but it's not too atrocious. Slow to focus on my Olympus E-PL3, but still a lot of fun, and surprisingly tough. I accidentally bashed it on concrete, with no apparent damage. Still functioning as before. It's not so sharp focusing at close distances. With the digital teleconverter, it reaches the full frame equivalent of a 600mm, which is okay for video, but not good for stills. Digital image stabilization adds slightly more crop. It needs an adapter - AF Four Thirds 4/3 to Micro 4/3 Adapter. Bear in mind the sample pics are only 9.1 MP from a micro 4/3 camera. If you get one at a good price, it's worth having, especially on a camera with better IBIS and resolution than the E-PL3.
