SECONDS Brand New Hornby R3208 4-4-0 BRIGHTON Schools class early BR loco

super model of a superb prototype

This hornby model represents 30915 Brighton at a time when it was BR black and spruced up to haul the Royal train to the Derby at Epsom. It is ideal for me to use to re number as 30914 Eastbourne which remained in BR black until the end . The only thing hornby dont do with the schools class is fit them with speedometer drive and/or AWS equipment as appropriate for the locomotive in BR service they are depicting Once ive done a bit of detail work and painted out the royal engine embellishments, scale couplings and crew to suit, it will take its place in my collection and be seen on our club exhibition layouts for hopefully many years to come
