Great for the laptop bag
I've had an older model before. These are really great. Very compact in the side pouch of your computer bag. The thin cable is more than adequate for temporarily securing a laptop. I've been using it in an open dining area, securing the PC to the arm of a chair while I go get food, etc. I even run the cable through the handle of the laptop bag, too.

Well Built
I use this to connect an external antenna to an ICOM ID-51 handheld radio. It prevents putting stress on the SMA antenna connector that would occur when connecting a larger cable like RG-58 directly. But this cable is very short to minimize the loss at VHF & UHF. The connectors appear to be criimp-style and are completely sealed with heat shrinkable tubing.
