1985 Greenberg Guide
2 of 3 found this helpful This is a good overall book on Marx trains to start off with. Pretty good information on tin and prototypes - R&D, but somewhat skimpy on color pics. It has 174 pages of some good information to get you aquainted with Marx. It also has sections toward the end on Plastic and HO, with a taste of British Marx and the Marx accessory line. I bought this book and still have it for reference. However new information has come to light since the writing of this book. This is one of the earlier books on Marx trains. This is not a bad book and since all guides are scarce, better take the one you can get and upgrade later, if you need to.

Lightweight momentary button
Works well for 3 -6 low volt and amp usage. I used it for a 12 volt horn and the plastic design can not handle the voltage and the plastic melts inside and looses contact and will not work any more. I can not recommend this all plastic design as a horn button running full 12 volts through it.

Sales Catalogs By Marx
2 of 3 found this helpful This is a 200 page book filled with pictures of Marx made train sales brochures. This is not a price or collecting guide of any sort. It is a collection of consumer and dealer catalogues. I did like seeing all the different sets and accessories Marx had ot offer from 1938-1975.
