Decent bracket, but wish it was lower profile
I use the RAM mounting system to mount my little Etrex GPS on my bike handlebars. My one gripe is that the setup puts the GPS 3-4" above the bars with an unnecessary arm and overly-deep GPS mount. Pretty clunky. In the old days, Garmen made a little flush-mount adapter for the back of the Etrex and a simple bracket that was low profile and much less obtrusive. These days it looks like the RAM system is it. RAM should put their design engineers back to work on this.

Beware of different mounting brackets!
The cygolite is the best! Unfortunately, unbeknownst to me, and not mentioned in the listing, these lights come with one or the other of 2 mounting systems. I wanted the bracket that nounts on the bike and light slips on and off the bracket. What I got instead is a rubber wrap-around bracket that must be removed, with light, every time you want to charge it. Why would anyone want such an inconvenient setup?
