The Fray - The Fray (CD 2009)
The Fray. Their self-titled album is the the follow-up to their enormously successful 2005 debut album ‘How To Save A Life’. The band finished recording their self-titled second album at the end of July 2008 for a February 3, 2009 release. The Fray, who exploded into worldwide success with that album, have captured the skilled songwriting that broke them and, with the help of acclaimed producers Mike Flynn and Aaron Johnson, created a set of songs sure to make them household names. “The Fray” album is just another chapter to “How to Save a Life”, the same beat, songs, feelings, and ideas are all seem poured into this CD as before except with a few new experiments especially with “We build then we break”. Although this album follows a very similar formula as their debut, it seems that the band has taken a step forward with a sound that has more atmospherics as compared to the first. All around, this is a good album if you were into their old sound. The Fray Album Track Listing 1. “Syndicate” – 3:31 2. “Absolute” – 3:47 3. “You Found Me” – 4:04 4. “Say When” – 5:02 5. “Never Say Never” – 4:16 6. “Where the Story Ends” – 3:57 7. “Enough For Now” – 4:14 8. “Ungodly Hour” – 5:04 9. “We Build Then We Break” – 3:48 10. “Happiness” – 5:22

Bon Jovi - Live-This Left Feels Right (DVD)
Just sit back and take in this intriguing collection of reworkings of the band's greatest hits. The new versions don't always mark an improvement on the originals, but they never fail to be interesting. Guitar virtuoso Richie Sambora, seated such as he is, provides most of the invention. Indeed, if it weren't for his deft acoustic plucking, the casual observer would be forgiven for not even noticing that the songs had been re-engineered at all. But then, only hardcore Bon Jovi fans will be watching this concert anway. Why? For starters, this collection was already released on CD last year; also, the casual fan would be better served by buying Crossroads, the band's straight-up greatest hits that also happens to feature two then-new songs, Always and Someday I'll Be Saturday Night, that subsequently became two of the band's most successful singles.

Bon Jovi - Crush Tour (DVD 2001)
Bon Jovi have been among the elite touring acts of the world for more than twenty years, and to see them live is one of the top concert experiences in music. So it is with great anticipation that any fan waits for Bon Jovi concert releases. Filmed on August 30th 2000 during Bon Jovis hugely successful comeback in support of their first album for five years, the Crush tour DVD sees them wow 55,000 people in the Letzigrund stadium in Zurich, Switzerland. Bon Jovi know what the fans want as they serve up an almost perfect mix of massive hits, back catalogue classics, and representation of the then new album, Crush. Tick off Livin' on a Prayer, Bad Medicine, Bed of Roses and other hits they are all there and sit comfortably with newer tracks such as Its my Life and One Wild Night etc. And it is a generous helping as well as they rattle through twenty tracks with efficiency which shows them for the old pros they are. If you are a long time fan this will not be the best you have ever seen Bon Jovi perform (Newcomers should be suitably impressed) There is a certain spark that is not quite there like in other shows, although this may be down to the fact the crowd are largely uninspiring; it is a fine performance but lacks the magic Bon Jovi concerts are famed for. It is worth saying it rains through the whole show which maybe dampened the spirit. The DVD as a package on the other hand is very good. This was an early DVD release and there is a decent bonus features, including very good music videos for it's my Life, and Say it isn't So. There is also a 30 minute backstage and interview documentary which is insightful and interesting. To round off the extras is a now out dated discography with track listings. As already stated this was released early in the life of the DVD, but that said the picture quality is outstanding with a real crispness and clarity. All in all this is a very good DVD package and should be more than enough for anyone with even the slightest interest in Bon Jovi. Track Listing Intro - 1:35 Livin' on a Prayer - 5:51 You Give Love a Bad Name - 4:20 Captain Crash & The Beauty Queen From Mars - 6:07 Say It Isn't So - 4:04 One Wild Night - 4:26 Born to Be My Baby - 5:15 It's My Life - 3:55 Bed of Roses - 8:42 Two Story Town - 5:20 Just Older - 5:28 Runaway (Acoustic) - 4:56 Lay Your Hands on Me - 6:38 I'll Sleep When I'm Dead - 7:17 Bad Medicine - 6:35 Wanted Dead or Alive - 5:44 I'll Be There for You - 8:23 Next 100 Years - 6:25 Someday I'll Be Saturday Night - 7:42 Keep the Faith - 8:37 Credits (Thank You For Loving Me) - 5:02
