Great deal

Strap is a bit long
2 of 2 found this helpful The only thing I dislike, which is a fairly significant problem. The adjustments run out, before I can shorten the strap enough. I hangs a bit low for me and I am 5'8". The length of the strap adjusted as short as possible, has the trigger of the gun hanging just below my belt line. I would prefer it was hanging just below chest level

Original, but mishandled when being removed from rifle
I was so happy to be able to locate an original part for my fathers WWII M1A1 Paratrooper carbine. I was almost ready to send it back due to the marks on it where someone had beaten it off of the barrel. I was rather surprised that it had been handled like that. I was able to make it look less damaged with a light file and steel wool.
