2010 machine bought used in 2016
5 of 5 found this helpful Bought as-is with some damage (keyboard, hard drive). Tough old laptop. Easy to work on, keyboard has edge connector rather than ribbon, hard drive slides out the side, whole back cover removes for access to RAM, CPU etc. Beefy battery. Nice screen, 14" size makes for a more compact machine. Did upgrade to Windows 10, then clean install, Dell does not have Windows 10 drivers for this model but it's getting along fine on what Microsoft supplied.
