Secure seatbag
Good attachment to the bike, good cargo holding area, this is my second one, the original's zipper broke after a year of near-daily riding in all types of weather.

Expensive, not many choices, variations?
Rather pricey for the simple adapter, but there doesn't seem to be many choices out there for this style of adapter and they are ALL pricey. I went with Yakima because that is the brand of the car rack that I have. It is of a high quality. Be aware that there may be differences in fork width - this adapter is too small for my fork; I have to put two washers on each side of the adapter to make up for the gap between my fork legs and hold my bike tightly.
