Great Music Stand
This is a great music stand and just what I needed to practice guitar. It assembles in under 2 minutes, fully adjustable and while light-weight, it is sturdy enough to setup my laptop with no wobble or fear of falling over. The added music clip and dual LED clip-on lamp is an added bonus. Also comes with an attachment for propping up on a table or desk. Very satisfied and would recommend this product.

This Stand is not for an Acoustic
It should be noted that this stand is not designed for an acoustic guitar. I have 2 acoustic dreadnoughts and both guitar backs rub up against the vertical upright. Also, the guitar sits a good 8 or 9 inches off the floor while in the lower cradle (twice the height of my other stand) and is top heavy, having fallen over several times. I placed 3 magazines under the rear leg to position the stand in a more upright position and I sewed a soft cushioned fabric material to the vertical upright to prevent the back of my guitar from being scratched. Not ideal, but at least it works now without falling over. This stand is strictly for an electric guitar model.

Not for Beginners
The book arrived in good condition, though this was not written for beginner guitarists. Having just illustrated basic strumming pattens, they ask you to shape 4-finger chords, some with barre shapes. No beginner can do that. This book is geared more for the intermediate level user.
The accompanying DVD is very outdated, with no GUI menu interface. It's structure is based on the DOS root system using Flash Video and is labor intensive in trying to locate a specific track. I gave up on it after attempting to search for 3 different tracks.
