Works well for the price

I took it apart to clean any cast flashing. Wasn't a lot that couldn't be handled with a small file set. Assembled with blue loctite after a dab of bracote on the piston and silicone grease on the diaphragm. Tested with the larger spring installed using a vacuum pump and gauge. Starts opening at -16 Hg, fully opened at -20 Hg, and fully closed at -15 Hg. With boost applied, it should open easily with 8 psi pressure differential along with vacuum. Seems like a good purchase with a little love added out of the box.

Quality piece

I purchased this for my 350. The quality is excellent and it fit without any issues. It could easily be polished for a mirror finish if desired. It's heavy duty and may weigh as much as the factory 3 groove I replaced. I haven't made it to belt alignment quite yet but I don't foresee an issue.

Fabrication project

So I hated to repurpose such a nice piece for a project. It was in great condition and fit my quadrajet and air cleaner perfectly. I didn't ruin it but used for a stock air cleaner to turbo bonnet conversion. Worked perfect! Equalized boost psi without unwanted restriction.
