Cold Comfort Farm (2003)
1 of 1 found this helpful Our story begins with Mrs Post who is around 24 years old; she has known a lavish lifestyle and sadly her parents have just died. Mrs Post must decide with whom to live: She has many relatives who would love to take her in that could provide for her a wonderful lifestyle; however she craves a challenge. Mrs Post decides to live with a family who needs all the help they can get. The family is backward in almost every way and even think they are cursed. Mrs Post shows them through many humerus events how to better care for their farm and the 'curse' once thought upon their farm seems to fade away. The dull dreary life of the farm host family turns into pure happiness and laughter as we follow this slightly zany adventurer who even falls in love herself in the end much to her surprise.
