Good kit - for the price, very good

The kit itself is very good, although I haven't used the scissors yet. The case is OK, no more than that. The whole thing is smaller than I expected, but personally, that's not an issue.

Does what I want it to do really well

Easy to set up - has ethernet network port which works fine (no wifi, but I hate that anyway, so I'm not bothered). Picture quality is great. Decent remote. DVD multi-region is automatic - Blu-Ray multi-region alterations are simple to carry out, and everything plays perfectly. Box had been opened previously, but clearly only to add multi-region settings - everything there and in good condition. Couple of gripes: I couldn't update the firmware (that may be a temporary issue, as I only got it today), and the power cable is far too short - had to use an extension cable to reach the socket. That's why this is a 4, not a 5
