Great game for the entire family
The component quality and overall beauty of the game is outstanding and adds to the enjoyment of game play. The rules are easily understood and simple to teach. The game mechanics includes drawing cards but allows the player to choose from a blind draw (top card face down on deck) or pick from 5 face up cards that all players can see. Also, the building of train routes can be chosen to complete the players own destinations or block the competition from a route they may need. And, choosing longer destinations can pay off big points if successful, but will count against you if you fail. The combination of options the player has to select which cards to draw, when and where to place a train route and how far to "push your luck" when trying to complete long destinations keep all players engaged in the development of their railroads throughout the entire game.

Good times!
Got this to share with family for the Labor day weekend...it was a hit! We all had a great time with this game even though I lost! Lots of fun and will be for many future occasions.
