Taste - Taste (R. Gallagher)
Rory Gallagher's talent for interpretation and re-invention of true American blues was as amazing as it was authentic. This self titled album with his band Taste, was a snapshot in time of their melding of Rory's roots inclinations, aptly demonstrated on the bottleneck acoustic tunes, along with the blooming, guitar on overdrive, psychedelicae of the day. His blues and ragtime chops shine while channeled through his classic stratocaster and marshall stacks. Taste was a true power trio with Rory handling lead, rhythm, and intense vocals simultaneously. While he was a monster in Europe, he was severly underappreciated in the US. This album is a required primer in an impressive catalog of many great albums by a great guitar player. Check them all out!

It's a WAILER!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful This extremely light weight unit is everything they say it is. I've used CryBabys, Vox, and Bad Horseies and this unit out performs them all. It's voice is a true Jimi/Cream/SRV emulator and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. If you have tried capacitor mods, pot mods or any other mods to try to get to "that sound", TRY THIS WAH UNIT OUT!!! Keep your old ones as a back-up that you won't ever use...The price is right and the performance is fantastic. Did I mention that is is very light compared to all others, you know what I mean.... Thank you very much....
