Budda Superdrive 18 Watt model
I decided to buy the 18 watt version of the SuperDrive because I alreay have an early version of the 30 watt, and man, it is LOUD! The 18 gives me probably the most organic and true sound from any amp I've ever owned and it does it without that "over the top" overdrive. I play in a classic rock/funk band, and the changing from clean to drive is seamless and is a true representation of what the Tom Anderson I usually play sounds like. I would recommend this amp model to any/all players out there. You can cover literally any genre, and it cranks for just 18 rated watts! But beware, I'm talking about the original Budda Superdrive here, not the newer ones being built by that "nameless" company now, that are giving folks all kinds of trouble. Bottom line... great amp, dependable, great tone, and great sonic coverage of many music genres. This one gets an "A" from me, top notch!!!!!

Electro-Harmonix Polychorus pedal
I would have to give this old timer's pedal a B- by the standards of today's chorus units out there. It's a bit large, so you have to move some stuff on your pedal board, and it's not real intuitive on how to set it up to do certain things. On the plus side, the unit does offer an array of sounds, including stock chorus, flange, vibro, and a really cool addition of adding delay to the front end of the chorus effect. Once you spend a bit of time with it, it's workable and for the most part, effective. But it certainly cannot hold a candle to the T.C. Electronics Chorus/Flange I had to replace with it. But then again, there's about 300 dollars riding on that difference as well. :) Hope this helps out there! Peace.....
