Did not work
I had the same experience as a previous buyer. The voice command ceased functioning. I had to place the original U91 disc in the player to restore all functionality, then place the U97 desk to update the player again.

Great Replacement Drive
Upon installation the drive performed to acceptable standards. It was installed in a macbook to replace a defective hard drive. I like the quietness of the drive and its ease of installation. I WOULD recommend it as a replacement drive.

Somewhat durable however...
The spine when the item first arrives is solid and does its best to stay closed. Two weeks in the it has softened up and now flops open when lifted. I received it at a great price so for that reason it works as promised...
