Nostradamus - Judas Priest extends themselves.
Judas Priest push the boundries of what you might expect from them here. The usual soaring Rob Halford vocals are largely absent - more alto than soprano, which I wasn't expecting. Once acustomed to Rob's lower registered voice, the album was amazing. The album incorpoartes acoustic tracks and some orchestration, expanding the band's musical range and reach.
A must have.
Strongly recommended.

Saw V - a Jigsaw Puzzle
First up, you should be aware that this SAW movie is quite gory. The first trap
we see owes a lot to Edgar Allan Poe's "The Pit and the Pendulum" only here (in
comparison to the Vincent Price movie) this is a cut above (pardon the pun.)
Tobin Bell's Jigsaw is seen a lot (in flashback, obviously) and much of what you
thought you knew of the SAW plot line across the films is cleverly re-woven
here. In that regard, you should definitely see the SAW movies in order,
a lot of the movie would make no sense at all without knowing what when before
and the cleverness of the back plot changes would be lost.
The plot of this film as tight and compelling, and the sharp pacing kept me on
the edge of my seat for most of the movie.
The traps (aside from the Poe style pendulum, which, though well done was for me
clearly a "lift") are once more unique and clever. My personal favorite from
this film would be the five man table saw trap - It certainly made me grimace!
I would definitely recommend this film, though seeing the prior SAW movies
first is pretty much a requirement.

Any Winehouse Frank 2 Disk version
1 of 1 found this helpful The CD "Frank" will likely have been in most people's collection for some time, the first outing for Ms. Winehouse with her amazing voice and song writing talents (she penned, or co-penned about half of the album). The "bonus" second CD has plenty to make the package worth a re-visit. It including both early demo versions of some of the songs, and live performances showing she really can sing (no sign of the heinous poison that is a vocoder here!) The last couple of tracks are re-mixes that, though interesting, I could live without.
If "Frank" wasn't a must-have before, the deluxe version certainly is.
