    surprise and no surprise
a chrono with 7750 movement is nothing special nor new.... but for USD300... it represents great value for money... the crown is not a screw type..but the clicks for date/time adjustment are precise n solid..the two tone case may not be vy eye catching but its retro look does make it stands out from the cloud...finishing is also first class... if i were involved in the product development..i might hv suggest to apply more layer of coating to the class to kill off those reflection...another suggestion would be the chemical applied on the hands...sure there must be something out there offering better illuminlation... the leather band n butterfly buckle is just about average...i mean average quality for a watch with a MSRP of over a thousand... the last time i paid USD300 for a chrono...the watch was made of plastic with a lot buttons here n there. .yes, a casio...
BN in box Genuine Vintage Retro Philips Electrodynamic Stereo Headphones N6315

    N6315 what a surprise
This is a product of the late 70s. Philips then also owned AKG. Thus, I was expecting better than average sound from the speakers. It does not require a powerful amp to shine. I plugged it to my L&P L3 for the test, then Objective 2. Difference, yes, there was some difference, sound from the O2 was a little more relaxed and extended. But the difference was not easy to spot. Meaning that it would benefit from an amp, but it could still sing happily without one. I bench-marked it against other cans of the same era, AKG K242 (a sextett). Clearly, n6315 was not in the same league. Bass was not as clean, clarity was also not as impressive. But for general listening, n6315 was very adequate. Now come to the best parts. Its looks. Sexy and eye catching. For the money I paid, I would say it offers even better value for money than Sextett. Nowadays a BNIB AKG 242 or 240 could easily be sold for well over US$200. T
