The perfect upgrade
26 of 26 found this helpful Had an old receiver which worked fine, but was time for an upgrade because it could only do 1080p. Sound was no issue. It was a complete samsung product with subwoofer and speakers. I did not expect to get a sound boost this major as well. It made everything so loud and perfect, the speakers stopped rattling/vibrating at high volumes and got louder on top of that with no downsides. The subwoofer started working, I thought before it was as loud as it could be, but after i started using the tsr 700, i found out my old receiver wasn’t even powering my sub. Now the whole house shakes, even my garage door. This is the best receiver possible, if you go to high on volume (you dont have to with how loud it is) it will automatically shut down everything so you don’t blow your speakers and subs if they cannot handle it. And it handles 4k with hdmi 2.1. For the best setup, hookup all 9 speakers. It can take 2 subs also, but if you have a good one, just stick to one cause you risk loosening up everything in your house.
