Excellent Sound Quality
Sound reproduction is phenomenal. Once it's setup properly, audio playback is second to none. Now the downside is, setup is not very intuitive. You will need to download the manual to get it setup correctly, there is no way around it. The menu is not very informative (i.e. changing the optical or coaxial input assignments). The manual also informs you what functions are available or not available in lieu of speaker configuration (i.e. ProLogic II is not available unless all 6 speakers are enabled). Aside from the setup issues this is the best sounding a/v receiver I have ever owned and I've owned quite a few, Harmon Kardon, Sony, Kenwood, Pioneer and JVC just to name a few.
