Great power cable!

A bit faster pedal but not when it really counts.
The Amp'd Throttle Booster with level switch accesses the resident power of the Cummins engine by amplifying the throttle/accelerator pedal signal to the ECM. It does not change the fuel curve or the fuel/air mixture ration, nor does it affect the transmission shift timing.
With the standard three settings of the switch, you do experience a difference in available power and a real seat-of-the-pants acceleration. I tried the "400%" setting a few times but it didn't seem to be any more potent than the highest standard switch setting.
This unit is advertised to reduce throttle lag caused by the electronic accelerator pedal sensor. It does appear to reduce the lag, however, it does not eliminate it. For instance, if you are accelerating from a stop, the response is very quick but you will notice a lag, though not as long as the stock configuration. However, if you should start to accelerate then hesitate, as at a light turning left and another vehicle comes into view and causes you to lift your foot from the pedal, pushing the pedal a second time will result in a significant lag when you really need instant response. I have nearly had accidents on a few occasions because of this flaw. Any pedal action should have an instant response with no lag, in my opinion.
If you are looking for a product to truly eliminate throttle response lag of the electronic pedal I would recommend looking for a different product.
