Does what it says on the tin. Why risk buying "own brand"?
1 of 1 found this helpful Admittedly, it's difficult to rate a battery until it's been in use for a prolonged period, but my first impression is that "it does exactly what it says on the tin". Stop-start use imposes a substantial amount of stress on a battery, but it handles the job admirably in my opinion. Yuasa is a massive company that produces a vast range of items and I believe I can trust them. I'd far rather have this battery in ny car rather than an "own brand" one from a certain well-known British car parts retailer.(H), costing 40 quid more (some outlets are even worse). It'll be interesting to see how it handles being left in an airport car park for 45 days over the Christmas holidays though.

28 months after purchase the battery WAS performing well, with one caveat; our Honda Civic started to display error messages and exhibit minor electrical issues a few weeks back. It transpired that everything was related to "poor battery performance". To be precise, very cold weather, combined with low mileage and intermittent use during Coronavirus lock-down took it's toll, primarily on initial start-up. I bought a Noco Genius G3500 smart charger to replace my ancient battery charger. Sorted.
