unnecessary features for most people.
1 of 1 found this helpful The item I received was from aging stock. There is an expiry date on this product, so although the price was lower than from where I found elsewhere, so was the useful life of the alarm.
Generally, I quite like Nest products and have gone down that route for my home. I would definitely recommend a hard-wired alarm if you possibly can, but went for the battery only version myself as we intend to move house fairly soon and will take the product with us; putting in the wiring was not worth doing in my case. Non smart devices would be much cheaper and generally perfectly good enough for most people.
