MPM MESSERSCHMITT Me 262 MISTEL SCALE 1:72 KIT#72112 (NO DECALS SPECIFIED)
02 August 2017
Beware of incomplete kits.
IMPORTANT: This kit should contain two boxes of parts. Some sellers may not know that this Mistel kit comes in two boxes. Look closely at the listing photos and description. I have seen only a couple listed that have both boxes. The listings that show the bagged parts often show parts with lots of excess flash. So it appears that there will be a lot of "cleaning" of the parts to be done. If you see the parts in the bags, make sure you see the Me 262 without the cockpit opening. That would be the bomb equipped plane. There should also be the components for the ground dolly with the frame and wheels that the composite aircraft sits on. Also, clear canopies should be included. If all the parts are there, it would be a unique kit for the experienced modeler.

A 2x worth the money
Along with my Canon lenses, I use several other non-Canon pieces on my Canon 40D body. Although other name brand lenses work well, I have not found a 2x converter that seems to work satisfactorily. It is rare that I would ever use a 2x, so I have avoided the higher cost of the Canon EF II extender, instead bying a less expensive brand. But the results have been dissapointing. After reading about the Canon extender, I finally decided to spend the money and give it a try. I was instantly impressed. With the extender added, my Canon 75-200 f/2.8 worked great! Canon recommends this extender for just a handful of their lenses. If you stick within these, you should be quite happy. Remember that any 2x doubles your f-stops, so "bright" lenses work best.
The Canon EF II 2x extender is worth the cost if you have a quality Canon lens to use it with. Canon has made a quality 2x. What else would you expect from Canon?
