has gotten better over the years
I had a previous Panasonic that I purchased back in 2013. I shave my face and head, so it got a lot of use. The self-cleaning device finally stopped working and it needed a new set of internal blades. I figured I got my money's worth out of that one and decided to upgrade to this model. I've had for a month and so far it has outperformed the previous one. It provides a close shave to my beard and head; better than my previous one even when it was new -- as I recall.
