Really Funny British Flavored Humor
If you like British humor you'll love this TV series. Not silly as Benny Hill or Monti Python but I was laughing the whole time. Starts a little slow but once the characters are defined it's great.

Fantastic Videos and Photographs and Geological Explanations
I got this course mainly for the views of marvelous geography. But the professor presents each wonder with an explanation of its causation, which makes it easy to grasp and remember.
The videos alone make it worthwhile.

A Must Read for Interested in Ancient History
This is one of the best courses on the Great Courses.
The class starts with the beginning of archaeology where it was little more than treasure and had no established procedures for a good collection of items.
A detailed explanation of the tech used in modern "digs" that was clear and detailed and very interesting. The presenter, Professor Hale" has a good presentation style and along the way gives insight on the sometimes strange characters in early archaeology.
All in all, I would give Professor Hale an A+ for the course..
