Anne Rice's Best Novel
This is probably Anne Rice's best novel because it appears to be rooted in her own personal experience, especially in the descriptions of New Orleans where she grew up which at times are poetic. I love too its Gothic atmosphere.

On balance Wilfred Owen's poems are the best about the first world war and deservedly the most well known.

Exceptional War Document
It's an amazing war document, one of the best of the first world war. It ranks with Vera Brittain's Testament of Youth and Remarke's All Quiet on the Western Front.
