Perfect do it yourself fix
My icemaker quit working (no water flowing, no motor drive - even when jumpering the testpoints on the icemaker itself). Replacing just the emitter board (smaller of the 2) fixed the problem.
The symptom of this fault is that you don't see the red LED on on the receiver board when the flapper is pressed in to indicate the ice bucket is in place (and not full) and the door closed. The red LED should be on permanently indicating its good to go to make ice.
