Excellent build quality and performance
Maintains the high quality build quality of Fuji lenses. Really compact size - hardly noticeable increase in weight/size.. Perhaps marginal benefit in terms of additional reach (turns the XF 50-140 mm zoom into a 140-196) but no noticeable different in IQ or autofocus speed with only one f.stop increase (from f2.8 to f4. OIS still works well. More obvious benefit in reach with the 2x teleconverter but shows some deterioration in IQ and autofocus with the 50-140 mm lens but still acceptable performance. Note that the 1.4x TC (and the and 2/0x TC) are designed specifically for the 50-140mm and 100-400mm zoom lenses plus the new 80 mm Macro lens only.
