It's about time!!
0 of 1 found this helpful I remember seeing the first 2 back in the 80's when they came out. I have been looking to pick them up on DVD for a while now and have only been able to find the first one. I almost bought it, but while searching I found the whole set had just come out. I didn't even know there was a 3 and 4!! I don't know if they are any good yet but I do really enjoy the first 2. I was a little hesitant because sometimes movies you see when you are younger just aren't that good once you step into adulthood. These didn't fit that category. I had good times watching them again and look forward to checking out 3 & 4. Good times, pretty good 80's movies, what more could you ask for?

Best show on tv!!!
This is hands down the best show on tv. I have all of the episodes saved on my tivo, burnt to back up discs, and now have the full season on DVD. I was very excited to hear that they were coming out with the dvd set. Although, I wasn't the least bit suprised. I can't wait for a few weeks when season 2 comes out on dvd.
This series is good all around. I am a huge comic book buff and love the show. My parents and most of my friends are not and they love the show as well. I say give it a shot. What have you got to lose?

Great picture. Good midline Blu-Ray player.
2 of 2 found this helpful I picked this up because I got a good deal on it (eBay) and I wanted to take the strain off my PS3. I don't want to overload the PS3. I watch a LOT of movies and was looking for something cheaper that I could use pretty much daily. This Samsung player has a very good quality picture. If I had to compare though and only had one to chose from...I would choose the PS3 hands down. Although a good player, the samsung is very slow to load Blu-Ray discs. Regular discs load normal. Sometimes it takes forever for the tray to come out so you can put the movie in.
Pros:
-Good looking player.
-Remote easy to navigate.
-Great picture quality.
-Sleek design, easy to fit into crammed entertainment center.
-Cheaper because it is an older player.
Cons:
-Tray takes for ever to open sometimes.
-Blu-Ray disc load time is pretty long.
-Older 1st gen technology. Have been told that it might not work with upcoming newer movies.
All-in-all it is a good player and does what it is suposed to do...play blu-ray movies. Great for the price.
