Excellent Trumpet instruction DVD
This is an excellent trumpet instruction DVD. John Thomas has put together a nice mix of group instruction, clips from clinics, interviews and factory tours. The DVD really helped me through a down time with my chops. John talks very candidly about a period of time where his chops were trashed. Just the fact of him sharing those experiences gave me the faith to push through my own problems. I highly recommend this DVD.

Different from the books but still very good.
2 of 2 found this helpful I love the three main characters, the New Zealand scenery is splendid, the production values are very high and it keeps the spirit of Terry Goodkind's books. Bridgett Regan as Kahlan will simply steal your heart. Bruce Spence is a wonderful choice for Zedd.
What do I dislike? I wish they had followed the books. The stories in the n=books were magnificent. Perhaps, the producers wanted to do a more episodic series rather than a mini-series type format.
I bought the DVD because I couldn't find the series on my local TV. The people I bought from had the right price.
If you're a fan of the Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind, give this series a chance. It's different but very good.
