Did not remove mineral scale buildup.
Product did nothing about mineral scale buildup. Vinegar and a pumice stone worked much better. It didn't seem to do anything more than the plain toilet bowl cleaners I get at dollar stores. Maybe it does better with rust stains or whatever else, I don't know.

I don't recommend for medical use, more for recreational purposes
1 of 1 found this helpful The segments fit together loosely so it clatters and wobbles as you walk, the handle is light-gauge plastic. The foot is not pliable rubber, its closer to a hard plastic so it slips easily on hard slick surfaces like granite tile. The aluminum seems ok but already has scratches in the paint. If the elastic strap that runs up the inside holding the segments together breaks the cane would fall apart instantly. I bought it for a sprained knee but I'm unsure of it and don't know how well it will hold up, but this cane is advertised here mainly for recreational purposes so for the low price it might be good enough for most people.

Handy, decently made, occassional qwirks
I've had this set for 5 months now with daily use and everything still works. Most of the time it works ok but once in awhile the buttons can get finicky for no apparent reason, and sometimes you have to reposition the receivers or the remotes even at close range, and the numbers printed on one of the remotes have worn off from use. I got the 3 Outlet 2 Remote setup. They seem decently made, and well packaged, its been very handy for turning our lamps on and off, but with occasional button quirkiness and sensitive close range reception I would recommend it for casual use, not for overly important or medical situations. And don't rub on the numbers too much.
