It is what it is...
Not the best component to ever find it's way into a Whirlpool product. Prone to failure and eternally on back order due to the high demand for replacements (currently on back order until Jan 2017 and has been for the past three months!). If you need one of these and manage to locate one, be prepared to pay 1.5-2x the manufacturers retail price. Supply and demand, baby....
