Effective
For anyone with chronic digestive issues that go beyond occasional constipation, Metamucil Coarse is more effective than the more widely available "fine" texture versions.

Best powered mixer value I have found
Although the Phonic website seems to indicate their Powerpod 820 is discontinued, I was pleased to find one available through Musician's Friend, via eBay. This is my second Powerpod 820. My first 820 lost service from one of the two internal amps with a resulting power reduction, but still functioned correctly otherwise. I use a powered mixers to rehearse in my home studio. The mixer is must be sufficient to power two, 1968 Kustom 4X10" speaker cabinets I have owned since college. Another of my requirements is a headphone jack to enable the use of a headset, a feature that does not appear on similar-size mixers from Behringer, Yamaha, or Peavey, my preferred brands.
Previously, I have purchased similar powered mixers made by GTD Audio & Seismic Audio. Both pushed the Kustom speakers adequately, but the GTD unit failed completely in short order (I had no luck getting a response from GTD.) The Seismic Audio Landslide unit is much better quality, but the onboard effects were not to my liking and there was very little output from the headphone jack. Because the unit is heavy and would be expensive to ship, I did not return the it to the folks at Seismic, who I am confident would have tried to help.
The Powerpod 820 has a clean sound, reasonable onboard effects, makes very little noise, and does not tend to overheat. Also, it is compact, has easy-to-read, up-facing controls, and provides all the power I need through 8 vintage Kustom 10-inch, mid-range speakers. I would not hesitate to purchase another 820 and have considered doing so, just in case the unit is, in fact, not longer being manufactured.
