Steady white noise, not raspy or anything. Impressive airflow/volume.

It works well
In a room that is 65% humidity, it pulls close to 20litres in 2 days.
I can only imagine the more humid they room, the more efficient it becomes.
The fan is a little loud on high, but if you set it on continuous, it is always the same pitch and you can't hear it after a while.
Most effective using the adapter plug and hose it comes with, to run the water into a drain or big bucket, as the 1.75L internal tank can fill up quickly.

Oh my goodness, get yourself one!
The free games library alone is worthy of a 5 star review. This has replaced my chromecast and Nintendo wii U, for games and Netflix. The possibilities with this unit once you start using emulators is endless. The plug and play style of android and processing power of this unit, does away with any need or the hassle of using a gaming PC.
