Good quality tools.

Good set of reliable spanners, Im a home mechanic and have used Halfords products for years, I still have a socket set I bought over 25 years ago, maybe not the cheapest but I know it will last and not break. I recommend them to folk like myself, Ive changed engines, gearboxes, axles, numerous suspension and brake parts. The finish is good quality and a wipe with a clean rag after use keeps them shiny.

Best G shock for me

I was looking for an every day watch with easy read day-date display, I like G shocks and have owned quite a few but I don't like the over stylised unnecessary display features that many have. The GD 350 range in my eyes is functional with out the excess. The strap is excellent and comfortable I don't have particularly large wrists but the under strap wings adjust to my wrist and I don't really notice Im wearing it, in an ideal world perhaps it would be a little shallower but it is a very robust shock resistant watch and I'm happy to accept it for this. The double pin buckle helps keep the strap aligned and is easy to remove with the fold back hoop, unlike some more fixed buckles I've owned. The black on white display is very clear and easy to read, the backlight is also excellent. The alarm is easy to access and set and the vibrating silent function is a useful option that doesn't disturb others. After much online research Im delighted with this watch, the best G shock for me. I like it so much I bought another!
