Not for lenses
This is dielectric grease, not designed for helicoids or lenses because of its high friction and stickiness, its designed to keep water out of electrical connections, if its silicone base which most dielectrics are then its also worst grease you can use on a lens.

Last piece of sony gear i ever buy
3 of 3 found this helpful Had to go back to my old broken player to play some perfectly good region 4 dvds, this player wont play them, then last night again with a bluray, just sits there making high pitched noises till crashes and has to be restarted, total junk player
