Amusing; thought provoking; and very touching! What a reason for such a pilgrimage!
This is a thought provoking story told in an unusual way, engaging the emotions but also with humour. I think it should be read as a sequel to it's co-story "The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry" by the same author, to help undrstand it properly.

I thought it was a bit "wordy", especially with that word: "approximation" in the title.
I haven't read enough of the book yet!
