Great read
This book is hilarious. I do thing that although it's a clean book, there are some very risque topics but not in a vulgar way. Very gossip-esq but entertaining, esp because it's very similar to real life stuff that goes down with "church folks."

it's okay, cute book and for the price but not one I'd recommend.
I previously read Blue Butterfly by this author, a great and easy book to read, but this one wasn't as engaging. I mean, there was some cool romance and touching moments, but somethings were kind of predictable. It also seemed like stories were rushed. This book also had tons of grammatical errors. I'm no English major, but stuff like saying "his" instead of "hers" and using quotations when there should be an apostrophe. I know, I shouldn't have even noticed, but I did. Why? One, the author uses a larger font and more spacing than most of the novels I read. Two, there is a lot of dead space, such as a whole page used to give a title for the chapter as well as a whole page for, I guess it's a subtitle, then starting the first paragraph more than 1/2 way down the page. Three, some of the characters had similar names such as, and I'm making these name up, Nina Simone and Simone Nina, yet they were referred to by both their names and nicknames in the book which confused me at times. Four, the author italicized thoughts, journal notes, and lyrics and at some points continued with the italics when the thought or lyrics were over. Lastly, there were open and closed quotations for every sentence or statement in a conversation that was continuing, which made it difficult to keep up with who was saying what in the conversation. It was still a cute story.

Wack
The thing is worthless if you're someone of color who has course hair. I am female and bought it because it's for men which I assumed it would be more effective than the female versions since those target people with finer hair, but this thing didn't shave not even a slight bit of hair. I was on vacay too, didn't have any shavers just that. So went swimming with hairy armpits.
