Fast-paced, face-melting, axe shredding Live Metal music at it's finest!!!!
Children of Bodom are known in the metal community for having complex mind melting musicians that deliver crazy fast solos and captivating rhythms and melodies. They make very well produced albums that can stand with the best music of any genre, and their live recording "Chaos Ridden Years: Stockholm Knockout Live" is no different. The sound quality is definitely 10/10 and the performance is one to be remembered. Filmed with multiple HD cameras from every angle imaginable makes you feel as if you are right there at the show. The audio track is 'Dolby Digital 7.1' enabled and sounds amazing on my surround sound system, and if you want to select 'stereo' and play the concert through your television's stock speakers it sounds amazing as well. We all know that sometimes a band can have a great album but when you see them live they don't sound the same, and they lack a certain vibe. Children of Bodom play their live show just as well as it sounds on the albums, but you also get the awesome improvisational soloing from Alexi Laiho and an all around wicked concert. This is a "Must Buy" item for C.O.B. fans as well as metal heads who want to hear a masterpiece of metal. 5 out of 5 stars all around, get it!

Epic songs, track after track, pure gems from start to finish.
A Perfect Circle "Mer De Noms" is an amazing album from a dream team band. Maynard James Keenan from the band Tool is the vocalist/frontman and he had the chance to showcase his vocal ability and talent on this album. APC is definitely different than Tool in a good way, guitarist James Iha from Smashing Pumpkins brings a really unique and interesting vibe to the music. The album is interesting and amazing from the beginning until the very last note is played, it is not often that an album delivers epic tracks one after the other, "Mer De Noms" does just that. I would recommend this album to anyone who likes Tool, rock/alternative/experimental music. I would recommend it to basically anyone who wants to be entertained for hours and hours, because if you buy it, it'll be in heavy rotation in your CD deck for months. Enjoy

"Watchmen" Greatest Graphic Novel Ever Produced
Written by Alan Moore and illustrated by Dave Gibbons "Watchmen" is one of the greatest literary pieces of the last 50 years in my opinion. Originally published in single comic/magazine form starting in 1986 the "Watchmen" comics ran for 12 stunning issues and all came together to tell a highly intelligent tale that fuses actual world history with fiction creating a gem that is still being read all over today. The historical dates and events going back to the 1930's show us how the characters evolve over time and creates a sense of realism. It is very humorous that President Nixon never gets impeached in this tale, in fact I believe he runs for 3 consecutive terms. The way Alan Moore wrote this collection gives each of the characters a great deal of depth and by midway through you already feel that you care for each and every one of the heroes. All twelve issues are in this great graphic novel and you will definitely enjoy reading the whole series in its entirety time and time again. It was beautifully illustrated and colored by Dave Gibbons in 1986, and was digitally finished in 2005 by John Higgins. The "Watchmen" series has won multiple awards and has been cherished by fans all over the world for 25 years, if you enjoy reading great fiction with actual historical events strewn throughout the story, or if you enjoy comic books and graphic novels, "Watchmen" will not disappoint.
