AFE 7.3 Intercooler Pipes
The pipes are proper fit and finish and do work. The problem I have is they crush really easily and deform to the shape of the clamps. I have bought 2 sets. Not running a whole lot of boost (30 psi.) But have to keep from blowing off. The first set I thought it was my fault(probably 50/50) I used my own high performance clamps. The clamps bent the pipes so bad it crimped them. (Ruined). So I bought this second set and used the supplied clamps this time and after being very careful still deformed the ends of the pipes when clamping. I wish AFE would make this pipe out of heavier wall tubing or a stronger material. I have got them to seal and not blow off but they are not round.
